India's first superhero "Shaktimaan" is gearing up for its second season release, as announced by the veteran actor Mukesh Khanna on his Instagram account. Fans of Shaktimaan have been pouring their mixed reviews and reactions on the news so far.

Shaktimaan, played by Mukesh Khanna and directed by Dinkar Jani, has been a childhood memory for many of the millennials during its presence on the small screen from September 1997 to March 2005.

A beloved superhero series that ruled every 90's household for its quirky characters and convincing storyline. A superhero, loved by the kids punishes the evil and educates everyone with a moral lesson.

Gangadhar, A fake identity with the profession of a photographer- Shaktimaan kept his identity hidden similar to fictional superheroes like Superman and Batman. The reincarnation of a warrior and sage Sri Satya who lived 6000 years ago, Shaktimaan was born at the present timeline. A conflicting childhood orchestrated by Tamraj Kilvish to get Sri Satya's incarnation (Shaktimaan) killed, This is how the whole plot of the series started.

Some of the notable villain characters of the series were Tamraj Kilvish, with his epic one liner - Andhera Kayam rahe, Dr Jackal, Kitanuman and many more aiming to destroy the world.
